The Royles

OWNERS / DIRECTORS

Vince & Jane Royle

Vince began in the optical industry in 1978, and since then has managed a number of practices around the South West and West Midlands before opening his own in his home town, Winchcombe, in 1997. With his wife, Jane, the practice has served the community in which they were both raised for over 26 years.

DIRECTOR / DISPENSING OPTICIAN

Celia Royle

Vince and Jane’s eldest daughter, Celia, studied Civil Engineering, but after completing her degree and picking up some work in the family business she discovered a love of optics. Twelve years later she has now requalified as a registered Dispensing Optician.

OPTICAL ASSISTANT

Lizzy Royle Handy

Fondly known as ‘the other daughter,’ Lizzy’s background is in the fashion industry, and works with the family alongside running her own sustainable jewellery brand. She is always more than happy to help you choose a new frame.

Now married and working for her husband she occasionally comes back to help the family business when needed.

Aoife

We welcomed Aoife to the team in April 25, and she’s quickly become a valued part of our practice. New to the optical world, Aoife brings a fresh perspective and a genuine eagerness to learn the ins and outs of eye care. With a natural caring and a thoughtful approach, she’s already making strides in supporting our patients and team.
Outside of work, Aoife enjoys walking and exploring the outdoors. We’re excited to support Aoife on her journey and watch her skills grow.
